Laxey is an historical village featuring many interesting heritage sites such as the lead mines, Laxey Wheel which is the largest working waterwheel in the world and the electric railway. Laxey is the winner of IoM Tourism Awards - Best Town or Village 2011.


​Totally refurbished, tastefully decorated and furnished with two bedrooms - one double and one with optional twin or king-size bed, a bathroom with separate bath and shower and a study area all on first floor.

On the ground floor there is the sitting room with open fire and smart TV. A dining room, with a wood-burning stove, which opens through to a fitted kitchen which includes a dishwasher and washing machine.  Outside is a south-facing patio with lovely views and a large garden consisting of lawn with trees and shrubs. There is a drive with off-road parking and a secure garage available for motorcycles and bicycles.

Price is from £110 to £140 per night depending on season and number of persons staying, a charge of £150 per night applies during TT Race fortnight.



There are direct flights from Edinburgh, Dublin, Belfast, Bristol, Liverpool, Gatwick, Heathrow, London City, Manchester and Birmingham.



There is also a ferry from Belfast, Liverpool, Dublin and Heysham which docks in Douglas.
