The House

Upstairs features a study area with a view over the village towards the sea. Two fully furnished bedrooms - one double and one with optional twin beds or king size bed. There is also a bathroom with a separate bath and shower.

On the ground floor there is the relaxing sitting room with an open fire and a bay window with a view over the valley.  There is also a Smart TV and books. Across the hallway is a separate living room/dining room with a wood burning stove. This leads through to a fully fitted kitchen with Neff oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge-freezer.

Outside is a south-facing sheltered patio and a large garden with lawn, trees and shrubs. There is a drive with parking.

Isle of Man

The island is perfect for those who enjoy walking and the outdoors as there is much natural beauty in the surrounding countryside. There are many footpaths both near the house in Laxey and around the island. There are many other outdoor activities such as diving, angling and cycling.

At the beginning of June there is also the world famous TT Festival. A must for all motorcycle fans.

The steam railway runs from Douglas to the south of the island while the electric tram runs from Douglas to the north as well as the top of Snaefell. The house is 5 minutes walk from the Laxey electric tram station from which trams regularly depart to Ramsey, Douglas and the top of Snaefell.

Laxey Village and Beach

The village includes all the usual amenities. There is Laxey Wheel the largest working waterwheel in the world and a small steam train run by volunteers at the weekend. All within easy walking distance.

Laxey Beach is close by, there is a small cafe and ample parking. It is a safe beach for children and includes a raft in the summer. It is a popular venue for picnics and ice cream!

There are four pubs in the village as well as a cafe and restaurant.

There is a good tram and bus service.
